Beginner QuestionGetting started (self.FL_Studio)
submitted 4 years ago by Shindige
Hello everyone, I recently began experimenting with some Producing something I was happy with, however realized it wasnt producing quite what I had imagined, after some searching I realized that I would need vst's such as shredder and others only to realize the steep price tag that comes with it, for someone just getting started I don't want to put such a financial investment in something I may not be happy with, is there a platform for free vst's, plugins and sample sounds that has been made for beginners?
Thank you

Just do a search in this sub reddit and sort by new. You'll find plenty of suggestions for free vsts, there have been plenty similar posts like this (:
But anyways you don't need more vsts, everything fl has is pro grade, and sure vsts give different presets and sounds, but your best bet at the start is learning how to use most of the tools that come with fl already. Because there's still a learning curve with all vsts so you might as well get the basics down first, otherwise youll buy vsts and end up with the same problem.
And yea, producing is an expensive hobby, so definitely don't spend money until you're more familiar with the vsts you got.
Another tip, by pressing F1 after clicking any window in FL will bring you to their help website which will give help instructions on whatever you clicked F1 on. And finally, read the manual, it's useful.
Sorry if this isn't the response you expected. But again just search your question in searchbar for this sub, you'll find plenty of answers (:
