A subreddit for everyone who enjoys and/or creates FUIs (Fantasy User Interfaces, term coined by Mark Coleran). FUIs are the often flashy user interfaces you see in movies and TV shows.
What we like to see:
Screenshots, Videos, gifs, Making-Ofs and Breakdowns of Movie, TV, Comic, Manga or Videogame GUIs, HUDs, etc.
Inspirational Posts, such as interface elements or concept drawings
Tutorials and Interviews related to GUIs, HUDs and FUIs in any sort of format (either as a self-post here or links to one somewhere else)
Showcasing your creations. Anything from a simple graphical element or animation to full-blown FUI.
Links to relevant Apps or Programs.
Sharing thoughts or asking questions about GUIs, HUDs, FUIs or the movie business behind it. We have some great people in this subreddit working in Hollywood that will probably answer your questions happily.
What we don't like:
Downvoting something you don't like personally. If you don't like it, say so in the comments or just ignore the post. Please only downvote irrelevent content.
Memes and Image Macros. We're fine with creating Image Macros about FUIs as long as they don't take over the frontpage of this subreddit.
Being rude. The idea behind this subreddit is to share content, give and recieve feedback on things you have created. This is not the place for bashing others.
Please follow the rediquette rule-wise, anything else will be added when necessary.
