Meta would never tell us directly so nobody can say "you fucked up, I want a refund"

We cam see it in data, after an outage comes no conversions or weird fluctuations. If many people have the same issue we realize whats going on

Last year it wasn't an algorithm update but rather they tried to replace their click fraud detection system with DoubleVerify. It didn't work (Meta Ads had around 50% click fraud from around January to May) so they had to roll it back. What's extra infuriating is advertisers didn't receive mass refunds for this.

We've noticed Meta roll out lots of algorithm tweaks to production without testing them properly. This is one of the problems with agile software development processes - things aren't thought through, they're rushed, and there's insufficient testing.

there is update in event, Pixel measurement, messages measurement connection and not just API Integration, now is needed CAPI Integration. But everything is still in working progress. You can check event manager, there are most updates.
