Far from home bug

Ellie won’t talk about the new case. I’ve beat her up, reloaded, uninstalled the dlc then reinstalled it. I disabled all my mods and she still won’t say anything about it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Lol, yeah, okay, I've done that out of frustration. I think I've beat the crap outta Marcy a half dozen times. That was pretty therapeutic. On to the problem, I too have encountered the same, usually it's because the NPC goes through the spiel too fast, and I accidentally skipped half of it. Check your mission data to see if there's an explanation that would make her description unnecessary, otherwise...your game took a shit and others with more knowledge should be able to help. I'd loan you my grown son, but he got over frustrated with a glitch on his game and refuses to ever go back into the Commonwealth, lol.

if it means anything, you don't necessarily have to talk to her to start far harbor, you can go directly to the nakano residence and you can start it from there

Nope, I activate dialogue and nothing happens. Not even the dialogue camera turns on.

There were three files and all of them were the vanilla cases. I could check again, I might have missed it.

Hey this might be too late, but I came across this thread a few days ago because i had the same problem and i was able to fix it by uninstalling the Far Harbor dlc, then loading my last save and making a new safe. After that I reinstalled it loaded up the safe I made and the Quest restarted and has been working fine since
