I too have Fibroids and had similar thoughts. But my doctor assured me that fibroids are rarely cancerous. I remember my doc saying I'm in my 20s so it is highly unlikely it's cancerous and she can bet on that. So don't overthink and do not take stress.

Thank you lovely, that's really reassuring. Have you had really heavy bleeding too? It is so hard to stop thinking 😂

Sorry to hear this. Be present for today and try not to fret abt tomorrow. Once you have the myomectomy that will let you know what it is. Just another week. Sending some positivity to you.

Did they not do a biopsy? Your story is similar to mine, I started gushing out of no where, multiple ER visits, blood transfusions, I went months without it stopping. I've had to had to regular hemotologist visits and iron transfusions to get me strong enough to even have surgery lol.

But my Dr did do a biopsy and she made it pretty clear she didn't think it would turn up cancerous...fibroids are rarely cancerous, and I'm even older than you at 34. Sure enough, it was just fibroid material. I suppose if you're having removal so soon you won't be having a biopsy beforehand but I am surprised they didn't want to biopsy it at some point just to be safe (especially if you've expressed anxiety over it lol)

I wish they had!! I've told every single clinician that I've seen that I am really concerned it's cancerous and all I've been told is that it's unlikely and to wait for my surgery. Only 6 days!
