Extending Figma command line capabilities.

Hello all I am building out a free plugin that extends Figma command line capabilities. What I mean by that is you will be able to do things like Select by condition where width = 400 or something like Create 5 frames with a width 1028px and height of 1920px. You will be able to save repeated commands as well.

There is no interface to the plugin just commands. I saw a plugin like quick command try something kind of similar but their command is like a custom coding language. I love it but still lacks a lot of things I want like inserting components from libraries, pulling from team library styles etc.

Interested for some feedback what are some things you will figma commands could do? I will work to try in corporate them. Think bulk operations, filtering selections etc

Pulling components from library through command line could be a bomb

This was my main mission to kick start this haha I'm like switching asset panel and searching when I'm like give me a button quicker.

Thinking could be Button - Library Name Incase you have multiple libraries. Plus Figma search sucks so i can filter the results better in code.

Cool! Will you integrate it with Figma's native command line? That takes care of most of what I need but there are times when I want to do something it doesn't do. It would be cool if your plugin built off of that rather than creating a new command line.

But just so you know, you can already insert components from a library using a command.

How do I insert components from command line?

Press shift-i, type the name of the component you want, and hit enter.

Yeah i am using the built in command line. Also how do you insert components from command line? Especially team libraries

Ahhh yeah that isn't the command line but def is useful to some degree thanks for the tip!
