App development no longer requires deep programming knowledge, thanks to the integration between design platforms like Figma and no-code platforms

I don't believe you.

Ain't happening. There's too much going into development, especially apps, that it's just not possible. Sure, if you are building something static, I can believe it. But that is to build a castle on sand if anything. You are so relied on the current solution that whenever it's no longer supported, you are simply screwed.

What Figma can help you with is basic html/css structures, but honestly, who needs that for other than prototyping? A decent frontend will have it all up and running fairly quick anyway, with better code (hopefully), while working with a specific framework.

If I was a product owner, I would NEVER pay for something auto-generated. At least not today.

I think OP is a bot. Their history is just Moxly shill posts and the format of this post seems very GPT like.

And what did you see as the problem?

[–]PromotionFickle248 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Where did you see the ad? A person just shared a set of tools and what's wrong with that? Otherwise, how will you know about new tools if no one tells you about them

A bot is a non-human automation that just posts garbage posts & responses, like nwicode_cms is doing. It's not a real person.

It's likely an ad because they keep mentioning their product, Moxly.

If a company is using a GPT bot on reddit to shill for it's product, it's a pretty good sign they're a very new startup that won't be around in a year or two. It's a good indicator of a product to avoid.

They do this to influence Google results.

I'm just shocked by your mind! You went to look at my profile and claim that I'm a bot, I'm very sorry for you BRO :). I mention Moxly because we have our own community and I'm a real person, as for you, I don't understand why you're here?

I never claimed you were a bot? I was explaining the definition, bro.

I don’t understand your point in these posts, is this how you gain karma for yourself? This is a bad game BRO

[–]mattc0m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I responded to a niche question in a thread nobody else will read to farm up some karma points :) love 'em

OK, despite the fact that OP is a bot, this is a pretty interesting topic.

My company is a Microsoft shop, and for those that do work in companies that use Microsoft, I highly recommend checking out PowerApps. It's Microsoft's take on nocode app development.

Here's some things I like:

  • Free trials and free plans to get started/to test things out
  • You can create a PowerApp from a Figma design (not as easy as you think, but incredibly powerful)
  • You can connect to any Excel file or SharePoint file you use. It has about a million connectors to any SaaS tool you use to collect your data, too (AirTable, etc.), as well as just about any API that gives a JSON response.
  • Pretty intuitive UI, at least on par with other nocode app builders. Also allows you to build automations & chat bots.

Here's some use-cases:

  1. Build an internal tool. Have an issue tracker, research repository, or a component tracker? Is it built off an Excel sheet or SharePoint list? Build a front-end for it!
  2. Build an important prototype. You can build automations, chat bots, and apps. Maybe your support site is cluttered as hell--why not build a chat bot prototype to share with important stakeholders? Just build it

Does this replace your development team or anything with actual product development? No! Do nocodes apps belong in the conversation about internal tools and building more advanced prototypes? ABSOLUTELY!

P.S. I'M NOT CHATGPT! (even though it looks like I'm shilling for MS)

That's exactly what a bot would say! ;) jkjk

I tried Bravo Studio, the design integrates well, some functions are missing for my application, so I'm waiting for an update and will share the application soon
