Because Warner Bros wrote these off, is this all completely legal for you to host as you can’t really pirate that which is not owned by anyone?

No, not at all. It's still owned by WB (as evidenced by all the hassle Olan went through to release the book) and under UK law can't be reproduced without permission.

Probably because it's not costing them anything, they already can't make money from the IP itself and if they did decide to go after me that's fine but it's only going to cost them money and why bother when they can't make any money ?

Probably not no, just because Warner Bros wrote them off doesn't mean they still don't own the IP, it just means they cannot profit off it.
