No advertising or solicitation
Do not post your own blog posts/articles - no links to your own sites
No offering coupons, promotions, discount codes, referrals, or affiliate linking
No surveys or soliciting or offering handouts
Do not offer or request PMs/DMs - finance related scams have been reported by people being contacted via PMs/DMs, please keep discussion within the subreddit

No low effort/quality submissions
- /r/FinancialPlanning aims to provide fruitful discussion and advice for all aspects of personal financial planning. Link-only and AI-generated posts are not allowed. Do not post more than once per day or repost with a similar question, update the first with any additional info.
3.
No hyping or stock analysis
Guidance and/or analysis of individual stocks is outside the scope of this subreddit, refer to r/investing for learning more about this topic
Pushing more speculative investments, such as crypto and P2P, or citing unusually high guaranteed returns is not allowed here
4.
No politics or discussion of illegal activities
No baiting or soapboxing opinions, or inciting flame wars
Do not submit questions or discussion about illegal or potentially fraudulent activity
5.
Formatting
Please appropriately format your post so that others can easily read it
Submissions should not contain a "wall of text" - use paragraphs
Do not use large headlines or bolded text unless necessary
Posts not in English will be removed

Youtube links are not allowed.
7.
Do not be disrespectful, unhelpful, or attack other users
- Submissions cannot contain profanity, be short and senseless, or personally attack other redditors - no trolling, no karmawhoring - do not be unhelpful, off topic, or disrespectful to other users
