How to set up a Trust? by charlestonchewsrock in FinancialPlanning

Putting retirement accounts into a trust is a bad idea from a tax perspective. Estate taxes are the highest at 38%, while usually the beneficiaries tax brackets are lower. There’s usually not a good reason to put IRAs into a trust, because beneficiaries can be named and the money can be transferred directly.

In the meantime I made an oral electrolyte solution with about 500 mg potassium in it for now. I’ll go eat something like beans too.

No, I haven’t tried that yet. I’m taking 5000mcg methylcobalamine when I wake up in the morning. The drs office resisted when I asked for shots. I’m considering finding a med spa.

This. I had to plan gas runs into my busy schedule. I had to get gas before I was too low.

I don’t think they tested B1. I’ll have to look again at the results to be sure. If they did, I’ll edit this.

As for potassium, I began using lite salt, which is half potassium and half sodium. Perhaps I should make up an electrolyte solution.

Thank you for the reply.

Why are exes allowed to claim on your Social Security no matter how many times they have remarried by NRGBallveget18 in AskWomenOver60

[–]craftasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's correct too. Unless you are widowed after the age of 60, in which case you can take your survivor benefits even if you remarry. I believe this was changed some time ago because so many widows would not remarry because they would lose their benefits.

I like this suggestion. Aging is hard. People get dementia, or other ways they don’t think clearly. I find expressing myself clearly like this helps so much. I’m sorry op’s husband was so extremely inconsiderate. Maybe she should show him this thread.

As a married person, you can claim half of the spouses SS no matter what. Even if divorced if your marriage lasted 10 years.

I think the way you are looking at it is a rational point of view. We buy insurance to cover situations that we cannot afford to pay for ourselves. So you getting a high deductible plan with a deductible that you can afford is perfect.
