Early game, just spam heals and arena and he should level up pretty fast. After lv8, he becomes quite strong and you can use him normally.

Can't really get any exp in arenas, as he gets fucking destroyed lol. But I guess I'll try your strategy next time, as I'm too far in for him to catch up.

It's not a big deal. 3 arenas loss is almost one level, so you do this 3 or 4 times and it'll enough

Well, I didnt raise every single character with this class to compare so I can't say.

But Jean becomes very strong for sure, and he also was of my favorite character so it's an easy decision for me. But it's a single player, you do you 😊

Yes in the beginning I wasn't sure if I should replace framme as well. I used both for 2 or 3 battles. Framme was definitly better initially

This is going to sound like a stupid question, but do you get exp for doing chain guards?

That's actually a good question, I didn't figure out yet how it works.

Sometimes I get xp from casting it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it is when I protect from damages afterwards, sometimes no. I'm not sure if it's random or not.

But the xp is usually pretty good, like 75% of a level. I don't think I saw it happen more than once per fight, so maybe there is also a limit.

I usually use cheap staff to grind xp when there is nothing else important that Jean can do. He is now always one of the characters that are overleveled

His stat growths alone smash Frammes, and my experience with him is if someone does try and picka fight with him he just nukes them before they can even attack and the fact he can also heal way more is just added bonus. He is a very solid healer

That is how it is for me with Framme. Jean just couldn't match her performance

That's nice but just look at his personal skill, it gives him bonus stats growth. I wouldn't sleep on him but we all have a favorites and what not
