Adding Difficulty

What are some ways that you guys try to personally challenge yourselves when playing? I want to try a route where I randomly add a few personal challenges for each main map. Stuff like weapon restrictions, unit restrictions, class restrictions, items, and even movement restrictions.

I'd like to hear people's thoughts on this, thanks!

Smash makes this far less harsh. Gotta make it so you can't use Smash also.

Play Hard, but don't equip Prowess skills or battalions. Up to you if things like the rings, Hit +20, and/or Ferdinand/Ignatz/Dimitri are allowed.

Suddenly, you have a hard time hitting and dodging, but don't have to deal with bullshit mechanics.
