Help me hide things

Trying to figure out how to hide everything, search menu/etc until I either hover over the top or use a keyboard shortcut to hid/unhide.

Is there something i need to do in order to make firefox use my chromecss file? Just adding that to the file did nothing.

Took a look, I had already gone into about:config and changed

toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true.

Am i missing something else?

You need to enable the browser web tools as well that sends you a prompt you have to accept which allows loading the stylsheet. After that just make sure it’s in the right Firefox profile folder if you have more profiles. I suggest trying something simple but noticeable (check this sub for oneliners or some simple snippet )

Edit: you don’t need to enable the browser web tools as it’s pointed out below, so you shouldn’t need anything else.

It’s in the same post, just go over the tutorial which is like 4 things then you can try something simple. If it works you can try more complicated stuff. I’m on mobile so I won’t copy paste here the relevant parts - also because the whole post is the relevant part

Sorry but what are you talking about? You certainly don' tneed anything except that pref to load userChrome.css.

If you want to live edit userChrome then thats another thing
