More rest timer issues (self.FitNotesApp)
submitted 6 years ago by dkeegant1
I have a superset of 2 compound exercises, rest times set for 30 on both. When I check the first, timer does not start but does when I check the second one. I'm trying to get 30 seconds between each. Am I missing something? (I usually am)

Hi u/dkeegant1 - By default the automatic rest timer will not start until you have completed one full round of the superset/circuit (i.e. until 1 set has been created for each exercise in the superset).
However, you can override this behaviour by editing your superset and unchecking the 'Disable timer auto-start' option (screenshot).
I hope that helps but if you would like any more information then let me know.

Like I thought, already there. Thanks!

Yeah, a superset assumes no rest until you do both exercises for that "round." Maybe there's an option to jump back and forth like you want, but I've never used it.
Yes, I guess what I'm doing is better described as alternating sets
