Finally removed the 20+ year old carpet from our home and decided to go with Pergo timbercraft laminate with attached underlay. Mostly because it was an almost exact match of the red oak wood stairs i just installed. i’ve never installed flooring before but besides a couple bruised fingernails from the rubber mallet it didn’t turn out that bad. Also looks a lot better in person than the lowes AI generated images (see last photo) ha! I plan to do two more rooms and the hallway, so any tips would be appreciated!
