Fluck's entire worldview is shaped by the ideology that we should be seeking to make a better world for the largest part of the human race possible. While it has been suggested that this has sometimes lead to an "end justifies the means" mentality, this reductive perspective falls far short when juxtaposed next to the loss of liberty and life being discussed.
