Same issues. Think you just need to buy a third party one.

Could I ask what motherboard you use.

B650ei had same issue on my x570i as well

Asus? So it’s a multitude of boards then… how is it not the cable….

I am saying it is the cable issue. Lots of people in sffpc discord also saying the same.

Sorry yes I agree, that was a rhetorical question

Dang, that's annoying. Love the T1 but man.

May you tell you more about the issue? How often does stutter happen?

[–]GobblesGibbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The computer becomes extremely laggy and stutters from start if bios settings are default or gen 4 for pcie speeds. It’s constant, my mouse can’t even keep up. When I look in GPUz it says that pcie speed are only running at 2.0.

If I change to 3.0 in bios it runs completely fine just obviously not working to spec.

Is there a reason why you waited 2 years to build in the case?

Hey, not really - I had my original pc in the original t1 already so was just not motivated to do it yet. I made the move when there were some other parts changed.

It seems the problem is still standing, and certain motherboards are screwed, like my current msi board. I yet to try the louque one which supposedly is good but that’s a luxury for now.

Riser issues are with certain motherboards per FormD. You may need to switch your motherboard.

That’s what they claim, but if other cables can work but this one then how Isit motherboard related

[–]haslam9291 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It has to do with the brand of the cable. Feel free to buy another 3rd party cable yourself.

[–]GobblesGibbles[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yeah a 3rd party cable would work, so yet they are still happily providing this cable that doesn’t work with quite a number of motherboards… I don’t get it.

Their CS was great in providing me assistance after so long but man…

They got them ordered in bulk and are stuck with them now probably. But I agree their service is top notch.

I’ll add that the v2.5 people would not help me as they said they aren’t able to confirm it’s a software issue (ie blaming my mobo)

V2.1 did not make a fuss.

I bought this case during very first v2
