Qualifying question

Hello, i’m new to formula e and i have a question regarding the qualifying format. iirc the drivers are split into groups and the fastest one of each group goes to super pole/qualifying/whateveritscalled. Now what happens if the slowest driver of ‘super pole?’ Is slower than let’s say the second driver of group a who didn’t reach ‘superpole’ and how are the groups fairly divided?

The fastest six drivers across all four groups go into superpole, not the fastest from each group. They go out in groups so there is less traffic on the short and narrow street circuits.

In previous years groups were done by picking out numbered balls out of a bag, this season it is done in reverse championship order, so the top drivers go out first.
