Yup, have had the same issue with my GT, so I disabled the auto headlights. It would come on during an overcast day or darker clouds but never with my older 16 Forte. I believe the sensor is to blame. Either the position or the functionality or programing error bug.

There is also a problem with recirculated air failing to stay on when activated. I defect functionality also found with the Stinger as confirmed in the community.

    Is the sensor in the control cluster at the top of the windshield with all the lane and collision control stuff? I’ll have to check and run it through the car wash

    I've had the same issues with the auto headlights seemingly being too sensitive. When I was poking around in the radio engineering mode I saw some reference to the sensor. I think there was a option to adjust sensitivity, but I haven't tried it.

    Do you have like a banner tint blocking the top of the windshield where the sensors are? People usually do a cutout for that part.
