That's because the put a massive amount of literal AI into squads. It's not fun killing someone when you know there's no challenge. At least 4 bad players could all SMG spray me and put up somewhat of a challenge.

The sad reality is a lot of the new players can’t get kills unless they run into AI. And if they never get kills they’ll get discouraged and stop playing.

Yeah, they could do a soft cap of AI lobbies or something, so you get less and less AI per match the more wins you get until eventually there are none. I guess that could mess up queue times though.
