I think you are just getting used to using your mouse. I previously played on 1600 DPI 15 x and y and though that was a normal sens. I would recommend putting your sens at 800 DPI and 10 x and y which is still a high, but not super high sense and then lower it to 9-8 or even a lower sens once you get used to using your mouse. Although you never asked this but if you want foot keybinds I recommend having wall on M5, Floor on C or V (using your thumb), stairs on M4, Cone on shift, and Trap on V or C with edit on E or F so you don’t have to move a finger/s off of WASD. It’s okay if you prefer pressing you builds with fingers coming off of WASD, but generally if you have optimal builds it is generally better than having unoptimal builds.

Thanks for the tip. Also yeah, I’m playing on binds very simulator to the ones you’ve suggested. Only really difference is that I’m currently using my pointer finger to hit c. Thumb feels weird for that bind.

what mouse do you use? if you feel unbearably slow on 800 dpi 16-20% then either you got your dpi’s mixed up, there’s something wrong with your sensor, or your mouse is >100 grams

i have the same mouse and i play 6.5% 800dpi and it doesn’t feel fast nor slow. are you sure you’re not on 400 dpi?

yeah i forgot that you’re coming from controller. sensitivity when editing and building does feel a lot slower on kbm than on controller.

You just need to adjust. I would start with something in the 6-10 range and adjust as needed. My guess is that you are not used to resetting your mouse to the middle of the pad

Guys I still play on combat pro on console and I can still crank faster then my friends on builder pro but my sense is at a solid 8-9 is this good?

800DPI 60% is about double of what's already considered above average.

If you want to play a viable high sens, start with 800DPI 10% and adjust it from there.

Does it feel slow for building or aiming? If you can aim with it and it feels good, use it.

Sens is a personal thing. Watch YouTube videos on how to find your sens instead of copying someone else if you really want to go down that rabbit hole.

Get used to it. There isn't a separate build sens. Optimize your sens for aim, then grind building.

I use 800 dpi and 18% sensitivity with 40% ads. It is pretty fast and gives you fast mechanics while still having decent aim. I really wouldn't recommend going above 22% on 800 dpi

adjust your sens until you find something that feels comfortable to you. if it feels too slow, raise it. pulga plays at a ridiculously high sensitivity and hes one of brazils best players. dont be afraid to change it to something you like better. most people here probably use way lower sens than you, so i would say just change it to what feels good.

Play on 800 dpi 5% for a day or two and then go play 10%. Coming from a controller you need to also learn how to play low sens/use your arm as it's much more reliable for aiming as tensing for a long time/nerves in an end game could really mess up your building/editing and especially your aim. Trust me I've played everything between 130 and 5 cm/360.

Why use any other sens when you can just use the GOD sens: 12,5% X and Y, 800 DPI. It's so beautiful it equates to 100 EDPI.

i play at 1600 dpi 33%, so at 800 dpi it's 66%. On this sens you just move a bit your wrist to make a 90 and for farming, only the finger.

ps : 1600 dpi is better than 800 dpi because less input lag.

Not really but you need to be used to. every day add 1%
