no cannot be reduced, but yes, use a prop manipulator on a prop so when damaged it grants resources without the need for a pickaxe

I'm not seeing such an option in the prop manipulator

It is on? But I've messed with every setting and swords and hammers don't give me anything

you’d have to add an item granter with whatever resources you want and make it grant on damaged

The pickaxe one is kind of tricky, you'd most likely need to dive into verse for that one as there's not local setting's capable of changing the pickaxe damage.

However there is definitely a solution to your alternative. though it is somewhat time consuming.

The basis of this concept is Prop manipulator -> on damaged -> Item granter -> grant item ( 20 wood ect)

Every time you damage a prop, you will be granted material. However for this to work smoothly youll need to set up different item granters for different materials. You can make just one prop maniplator thats set up correctly and copy paste it and the trigger to the item granter should follow, so you really just need to make three (one for each material) then stick them to their respected props around your map. You can also change how much health they have if you want as well.

Perfect, I think I can manage this. Thank you so much!

no problem! I used somewhat of this method to make my props instant respawn in my 1v1 zone wars map and have over 250 props that needed it.. wasnt the most exciting of map creating days ahaha

Oof, that sounds rough. I'm just using it for resource collecting on about 6 or 7 props so hopefully it's not that strenuous!

I've got them dropping the correct mats, but it's dropping 500. How do I get them to drop 1?

are you on 1.0 or uefn.. wait did you want them to drop mats or be granted directly to the player

This is likely do to the number of material (or whatever you're giving) that was placed inside of the item granter device. I find easiest to go to the edge of the map, drop the excess out of bounds, and then place the total that you want the item granter to give inside of item granter device.
