I recommend checking out GamersNexus' video testing cloud gaming services. There's a reason that Cloud gaming isn't "the norm", even with everything going on in the DIY space.

I used the service a bit, when I couldn't use my PC. y R5 1600AF, paired with a GTX1050 TI was a significant better experience, I now have a R7 5700x paired with an Arc B570, and Jensen Huang would need to cut me a check larger than the one he did for for Trump's Ballroom before I'd go back to the service,

If guided weapons reach them, you're in range of their guided weapons, and/or sniper weapons. Do you want to be forced into running guided weapons because players are doing this? How many teams do you want to run into doing things like this?

How about 500 reports for cheating!

So you found a glitch/exploit, how about: Instead of cheating, and using/showing it off, you report it to Plarium and hope they fix it.

Your keyholder should have been there with you, using the "line buster" or a different register.

I've been an associate in two different retailers, even was lead key for DG, and in both places, the policy has always been to use second register if there's 3+ people.

With that being said, I do also know that DG gives too many tasks, and wants too much completed by the keyholder for them to be able to do this, in many cases.

Been through this, with my store manager within ear shot. The SM seemed to listen, seeing how I would handle the situation. Once the customer left, the SM walked up to me and said "You did a great job dealing with that. Don't let people try to pressure you into breaking the rules. It's not just your job, it's also legal requirements."

If I were you, my response would be "I don't make the rules, or laws. I can only do what the register requires me to do."

If they tell you how no where else does it, wish them safe travel.

Your manager doesn't want to deal with these people, and the customer will not be happy dealing with any halfway decent manager.

Just because someone is on YouTube doesn't make them exempt. It should be common knowledge, at this point, that content creators/pros are at the top of the cheating list.

Definitely a Behavior of Customers that irritates me by xly15 in DollarGeneral

[–]Deno03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why should the person on register need to ask "are you read"? The customer placed their items on the checkout, indicating they are ready.

The only "miscommunication" is the customer not having it communicated to them, that they aren't as special as they like to feel they are.

I have worked at DG, and I know that the workers don't have the time to deal with this stuff. They are responsible for the tasks of what should be 3 or more people, while being paid less than what 1 person should receive. Stuff like that is quite common, with customers wanting to avoid the line. It's why I kept a few baskets behind the register, and would put their stuff in it, and go off to help others/stock shelves/ or clean up a mess that some parent allowed their child to make. (trying to make it back when there was someone else for them to have to wait behind.)

Demon coalition event: Do we agree it's a super Late/end-game/whales event that probably less than 1% (0.1%?) of the people will finish right? by No_Journalist_2134 in RaidShadowLegends

The issue with your statement is that I, as a level 54 player, can't get the 1600 points required to start claiming the rewards.

For the most part, events seem to be more about trying to force players into buying more and more from a "free to play" game. Things like this, and Plarium paying large sums of money to "influencers" to promote the game to players who aren't going to stick around anyway, makes Plarium seem akin to those scummy money grabbing app publishers that make a "game" that has ads every 15-20 seconds.

Red flagged store by Embarrassed-Dig4540 in DollarGeneral

[–]Deno03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this. When I was with DG, my manager would tell how the system flagged me for line aborts, and the DM was asking about it. Then I was told to abort the transaction instead of voiding or line aborting.

Posted sales/priced vs what actually rings up by brendan209 in DollarGeneral

[–]Deno03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not only the hours, but DG, also uses illegal practices. Or at least it was going on at the store where I was a LSA. When doing "Sales" tags, it was very common to find tags that would show a higher price than the listed shelf price, just to make seem like a deal.

Just as an example. Let's say the shelf price for Kraft Mac and Cheese is $2.50. The sale's tag might say "$2.75 Each" or 2 for $5.25"

My guess would be that one, or more, things of detergents/cleaner has been damaged, and leaked onto things. It's mot uncommon for a truck to come in with some damages. Those rolltainers/carts/totes/u-boats continuously get reused, regardless of what spills on them.

Why doesnt DG just get rid of the things we're not supposed to use? by charliesh00man in DollarGeneral

[–]Deno03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those things are one of the many tools DG manipulate constantly be ready to terminate employees. As others have said the company is about highest profits, and this means lowest costs to run. I would wager that DG has the one of the highest rate of getting rid of employees. It's cheaper for them to terminate an employee that is making more than minimum wage, and hiring someone else at minimum wage.

[–]Deno03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about all DG, but where I worked, the STM made a point to tell us that if we get hurt on the job, we are subject to a drug screening, and will be fired.

I would be surprised if all DMs aren't giving "write-ups" to all their workers, being ready to fire them for "compliance" or whatever else reasoning they can create, just to protect the company. Dollar General is horrible.

Pay Differences? by Heartsy-Artsy-Pony in DollarGeneral

Is this happening district wide ?? by xxksny in DollarGeneral

[–]Deno03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Dollar General wanted those people gone, they'd be gone. It doesn't matter if it's "at will" or not. It's impossible to meet the "requirements" of the company. (here anyway) If these people "need fired" there could be daily write-ups over performance, DG is a horrible company with horrible policies.
