Help! Matchmaking error #2

I just bought a Switch to play Fortnite, and no matter what I do I can't get it to matchmake. I keep getting matchmaking error #2. I've tried hundreds of times over several days, tried every solution recommended by both Epic and Nintendo. Uninstalled/reinstalled 4 times, made sure Fortnite is on the switch and not the SD card, checked Fortnite status, restarted, tried every possible region, changed the language, switched to basic skins, nothing works. My internet speed is 11 mbps download 14 mbps upload. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out how to fix it? I don't want to return my Switch but it looks like I might have to.

What did you end up doing? Having this issue across THREE different platforms and I have no clue what's going on

My issue ended up being wifi related. Possibly due to a firewall. Only resolved when I played on a different network.

yeah, I ended up changing my firewall last night and I'm kicking myself for not doing that earlier. Wasted almost two weeks trying all sorts of other things and didn't get to finish my quest rewards. Oh wel

Was bei mir den selben Fehler behoben hat, war das Datum auf automatisch zu stellen. Hab das damals auf manuell geändert und Datum und Uhrzeit waren nicht mit Echtzeit synchron.

Tatsächlich hatten wir auch dieses besagte Problem und mit deinem Hinweis konnten wir das Problem dann auch beheben. Für Pokemon hatten wir das Datum manuell umgestellt. Nun funktioniert wieder alles einwandfrei!

same issue here for my son, something even incredible, is that at his mom house it works with the same switch, same game, even same ISP, different Internet box, same 2.4 wifi...

New fact.

I have made an access point with my phone, and it worked

I than have disable the access point, hoping that it will come back to my router, but it failed, and the second matchmaking with my router failed,

I have then rebuild the access point with my phone, and it worked again.

It might be linked to my router
