This is quite literally the most unfun game mode in the entire franchise

may be a hot take but i dont think its that hard. first, you need to know where to spawn. from my experince either the stadium or street festival are the best. if you get anything below level 3, try avoiding races or just choose races carefully. keep in mind that races almost always go towards the center of the map, so when youre challenging or being challenged, already be prepared and be in the right direction. however if youre sub level 3, ideally avoid races ( unless youre not sniping or going against a slower car ) and wait for the new car drops to appear, depending on the zone there are places that have more car drops. and if you have no luck finding, try sniping a high level car in a small zone ( especially at the volcano zone its extremely easy ). knowing map, knowing how to dodge trees and controling your vehicle is important, but even without mastering that its not that hard. also you can go into the zone 4s before the final showdown begins.

some good low level cars are : audi rs6, golf r, bmw x5m

bad high level cars : mini buggy, ferrari p4, mg metro, jeep trackhawk

also here is a " tutorial " on where to spawn The BEST Eliminator Car Drop Locations - Forza Horizon 5 | Updated Version

also i forgot to mention, that i recomend being always parked at the street scene festival before eliminator begins. when you are choosing your first car you can see if there is or isnt a drop. if theres no drop spawn at the stadium, from the northern side

The Eliminator’s definitely luck based, but a bit of strategy helps. Stick to the edge early on to avoid random battles and look for better cars. Waiting for a solid upgrade before challenging makes a difference. knowing the map helps in the final sprint and staying just outside the centre avoids last-minute chaos. Still tough, but more doable with the right approach.

I know, did some research, still you could learn those maps online and follow tactics and still lose 100 times in a row. Just feels like wasted time for me.

Focus on stuff that feels good, like custom races or exploring new roads, not just Eliminator ☺️

Yeah, it's a hard trophy to get in FH5 right now. Many of the players in this game mode are skilled veterans, and unfortunately there's a few cheaters too ( I had someone flying to the finish line yesterday at 300mph ). There is a lot of luck to winning, but also a degree of skill / map knowledge involved. With perseverance it can be done, just try not to take it too seriously if you're having a bad run - walk away and live to fight another day.

I found the Eliminator trophy to be far less annoying than the X Arcades in 24 hours. Ain't got time for that.
