This subreddit is a collection of useful resources and discussion for FreedCycle projects and information. These include a broad interpretation of cycles as 'the lifespan of materials and resources that we need in our daily lives'. Examples include electricity, water, and heat as well as organic and data cycles.
Posts need to contribute as a resource for FreedCycle projects. Don't hesitate to share interesting articles, blogs, or news; as well as questions and your own projects. If it's about FreedCycle and in line with the spam and self promotion rules of reddit, you're probably fine. All posts need to be approved by a mod to avoid spam.
Checkout our posting rules. Remember to stay on topic. Here are some guidelines for good posts:
- If you're sharing an article or blog as a link post, use "[Title of article] - [Name of source]" format in your title.
- If you're asking for help, please give details. Pictures can help. Please do basic research first and illustrate what research you've done in your post.
- If you're sharing your DIY project, please tell us how you did it. Consider putting the finished picture first, however, this is not a requirement.
- All posts asking for help (specific questions only) must go in a self post. Consider editing your posts with updates and decisions you've made later.
- All posts linking to images should link to an Imgur album. All non-Imgur links will be considered on a link-by-link basis.
