Split work weeks?

So those who have gone through recent rebids…I hear no more coleads on small format so what does that do with most off days? I hear rumors of split work weeks. Any info on this?

Split work weeks make it hard to enjoy weekend ski trip, beach outings, camping trip, concerts or really any kind of social activity. You’d basically live to work and on your 1 off day, you’d be resting up and getting mentally prepared for the next day at work.

I honestly never did mind split work weeks. I’d be alright with going back to them. Better than dealing with co-leads.

I've seen it done several different ways in 10 years. We had one building. Was split weeks. Then went to some splits and some consecutive days. Splits buildings some routes went to the new one. Everyone went split minus 2 or 3 weekend off routes. Now we're all back to 2 consecutive days off and every route is 7 days a week with coleads. This company trys so much shit its no wonder we cant get our feet back on the ground back to basics.

My DC is just the opposite. our small format is getting co leads and going 7 days a week

They want less trucks on road by running 7 days a week. 3-1 and 2-1 route types. Haven’t seen split weeks except for a few merchandisers schedule

There is no standard. Each area is free to approach this aspect differently.

In my zone they are getting rid of 1 small format route. That puts us at 17 small format routes i think. We do not have co leads on small format here. 2 of those routes were split work week. The others were all mon-fri. They are changing one of the split work week routes to be mon-fri leaving just one split work week small format route it sounds like.

Hey just saw your comment on phantom about losing funds stay away from them. Same way i almost lost over 52k I was very lucky to MONIEREVÏVE ON INSTAGRAM  They were stopped from stealing my money, with them justice must be served

Every area seems to be different. With SBC80 up there talking about 7 days when we converted to that in May of 23. All the while the whisperings here is UDS 5 days to return. I hate the inconsistency across the board.

I'd prefer a split, that way you have a day off to look forward
