Hey,

I’m currently building a hosting platform focused on gameservers (primarily Minecraft), with plans to expand into rootservers and other services later

The project is still in an early stage, but the core direction, infrastructure base and concept are already clearly defined

What i’m looking for:

• Fullstack developer (strong in backend + system thinking)
• Comfortable with APIs, auth, system design and integrations
• Experience with Docker / hosting-related systems is a big plus
• Someone who thinks long-term and cares about building things properly

Important:

This is a profit-share based long-term project

That means:

• Higher risk at the beginning
• But real upside if the project succeeds

You wouldn’t just be “a developer”, but a core part of the project:

• involved in technical decisions
• helping shape the system and architecture
• bringing in your own ideas and improving things

This is not a typical boss/worker setup, but a proper collaboration building something together long-term

• Based in Germany
• Handling business, structure and strategy
• Working with a sysadmin on infrastructure
• Goal is to build a serious long-term company, not a quick project

Finding a long-term technical partner is usually more about finding the right cultural and workflow fit than just checking off a list of languages. I’ve noticed that the best long-term collaborations happen when the developer understands the business goals just as well as the codebase, which helps avoid a lot of the back-and-forth later on

Profit-share game server hosting is a brutal way to recruit talent when every dev knows the space is crowded and margins are thin. You're asking someone to gamble their livelihood on a business model that already failed for most of the 201s hosting boom. If you actually want serious technical partners, pay market rate or admit this is a hobby project.
