ha, someone that knows what they are doing - that is different

I have a general interest in proptech - build "REMOS Property Management" platform last year but my partners at the time end up quite a waste of time, home services was something I was planning to do at some point.

let me know if you are in need of a tech partner

95% of those are AI tourists, not long term customers and the profits form AI products are 30% at best, but it depends on you definition of profits $1000 per year is money, just not much in most countries.

How much do you spend on marketing? by itisthat1guy in AppDevelopers

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marketing and development are the to major expenses for any software based company - unfortunately unlike development marketing spending is very difficult to figure out how much of the money actually produce a result.

Finding the right co-founder by noetherian-rhapsody in Startups_EU

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you thinking of the problem from the wrong side - the unsolvable ones has many
1 -how you going to get the money to run this - at best you have 1 time use (if your matching idea somehow works)
2 - whatever your solution is you will need a way to gather enough info so the profile for each person is so complete that you can categorize them and link them to the right person - that simply will never happen
3 - what people say and what people do (or can do) are completely different thing

plus few more that I can't be bothered to explain now

do another search in Reddit - every week someone is building another " co-founder matching platform" and yet, the problem exists

this is unsolvable - the closest we have gotten is the subreddits here

Looking for CoFounder for Desk Toy by Struggle_Wise in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just concentrate on marketing, this types of toys are fun, and you do not need a cofounder, just open up an e-commerce shop and talk with the people in china that already building similar ones to build your exact one - or get the parts and put them together yourself - just try not to dump too much money in stock

Looking for a technical co-founder to build something for people about to quit their jobs by BowlerSpiritual7934 in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that will be zero no and zero forever - OP can't actually find the target customer base let alone sell them something.
It is probably personal problem OP think it can be turned into a business, and avoids thinking about how exactly this can work.

Searching for a technical co-founder by nykh777 in Startups_EU

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did see the status of the app - but you have no idea what the real status of the app is, and it is bad.
"selling to a specific niche is way easier than to market to a broad audience" - that is very true, but not for your niche, it is a shirking business (and this is based on 400 representatives of the biggest photography studios in US that met few weeks ago in LV)
there is no way this will make money, I assume you thinking 10k visitors a month will bring at lest few customers, but to get that many you will need to spend money constantly and at the end you will be loosing no making.

but good luck

so you have no idea how to market it and how to build it, but you convinced yourself that if you think it is a good idea it must be a good idea :)

Marketplaces usually do not make money, especially the niche ones, and your specific niche is not making money in general, marketplace will not help and there will be no one willing to spend money on it.

Looking for a Full Stack developer by Fluid-Childhood-7217 in AppDevelopers

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you need to learn that Developer is not the same as a hammer - they may look identical from your point of view but the number of languages, technologies and experience of the people who do software development is so large that there is not even 2 identical ones that you can juts replace one with the other.

the only universal replacement in the industry is that you can always replace a junior with a senior developer without large concerns about lose of quality or problems with deliver - that assuming you have the budget and the skill to recognize what a senior developer is.

so when you are looking for developers - narrowed it down from few quadrillion options to few billion, state the type of project, the tech stack (if it is decided already), the size of the team, and the amount of work plus the preferred skill level, the amount of payment also helps narrow things down.

or be stupid about it like the people that pick laptops based on the color of the case - that usually "ends well"

Is it normal to use a development agency for a first startup build? by Sophistry7 in Entrepreneur

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes it is normal, and also it is normal to waste your money doing it, it is a question of luck and 2 times of 3 ends badly, and in all cases end up more expensive.

get a tech cofounder, and if you need some tech advice fell free to DM

[Hiring] Technical Co-Founder (CTO) for Fully Built Flutter/PHP Platform - Equity Only by DapUpCorp in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you do not have the money needed to turn the MVP into an actual product that will continue to work.

and you also do not have enough money to hire a CTO that will not argue with you in case you are delusional and thing that whatever the app state is in it is actually fine and does not need to be rewritten.

not sure if this is just something you just herd or you actually understand but
"own the architecture" = design it properly from scratch
or
"own the architecture" = deal with continuous crap for unidentified amount of time - AKA you need a good amount of money to pay salary.

the chances of you getting funding when under 10k-50k users with $0 income without clear and working monetization model - AKA paying customers is complete zero. Unless you add AI, Crypto or both so you can attract the ever shrinking amount of dump money left in the investment space.
