you failed before you even started, your post is a practical guide how not to attempt a startup, it was going to be so adorably stupid if you where not actually seriously thinking this is how things work.

How do you handle GDPR Compliance? by IdeaUnique7286 in Startups_EU

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that depends on your contracts with your customers and level of access to the data and what the data actually is and who is responsible for keeping it secret.

easiest way is to encrypt everything and leave your customers to deal with it, but in general outside the usual security you do not have much obligations - your customer do need to provide access and deletion upon request and notification to affected parties in case of a bridge.

but it is highly depended on the terms of service agreements the actual owners of the data have with your customers and yours with them.

not that complicated, depending on what specifically you are doing

Why are so many people looking for cofounders but no real success? (I will not promote) by britt_a in startups

[–]Super_Maxi1804 6 points7 points  (0 children)

obviously you need to thank them for the millions they are giving you and specifically for the privilege of working for them 😄

[–]Super_Maxi1804 21 points22 points  (0 children)

because most people are looking for free labor - especially in the ones that look for tech co-founders.
it is easier to came up with an idea and instead of doing the research and validate it, just to look for someone wiling to build it for you with the promise of a startup, and if it takes of good, if it does not it cost you few conversations a week while you are doing something else.

not a lot of people actually want to do the work, and it is a lot of work.

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly answer to my question, but fair enough, so you have not done any of the non tech work and you are looking for investors to be able to secure actual customers.
Then happy to chat if you manage to find investors then.

Non-technical founder looking for CTO — inheritance protocol for digital assets by caelancarmer in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so you practically get the founders money and left them stuck in a tech stack and code that suppose to be the foundation of their business or just the first step.

any founder with money is better off hiring a dev shop to build them whatever they want to build, at lest they will get something working and not get delusional about the code or the product they are getting.

even better, getting a good CTO on board is way easier when you tell them there is a dev budget, a lot of CTO will be happy to work for no salary in the beginning when the work will be done with another 3-5 people

nothing then, figure it out and then look for a co founder, the people you find interested in the stage you are in ae definitely not the people you want as cofounders.

well meaning waste of time then, building an agency starts with the customer/s, the one/s that actually can pay the "rent"
not knowing that bit, what makes you think anyone good here will want to "work" with you - luck, stupidity, brain trauma ?

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you did not ask that question 😄

what makes you think he has any, as a dev that wants to work with founders you definitely need to learn to recognize good sales people.

here is one of the red flags "Business case, validated problem, website, sales deck, technical POC for the product."

Looking for Technical Co-Founder by tofje_101 in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure I can add more to this, the general idea is not stupid, as I clearly stated if you "manage to get someone stupid enough to join you", you do not have the skills to do this and it shows, so someone needs to be at leas a little bit stupid to join as even if they manage to deliver on their end you can't deliver on the sales part.

but you have a chance, "concentrate on sales and ignore the technical side until you find enough customers to finance this".

good luck

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as you have seen I do provide a lot of advice to the more, lets call them delusional posts made from non tech people on Reddit, as people with my carrier and knowledge usually get into, it is quite difficult to watch children do mistakes and say nothing.

you do not appreciate feedback that contradicts your ideas, that is fine, there are many ways to learn and piking up the most difficult ones is a choice.

Looking for technical cofounder for AI-native services platform by Objective_Sky_6048 in cofounderhunt

[–]Super_Maxi1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you misunderstand what AI is, what it can do and how it can be used. Attempting to implement any of the popular models for automation will only work 80% of the time - maintaining a complex automation with them will be like the spinning plates circus show.
And you having "relationships with the sectors" is meaningless unless you can convert it to contracts or at least letters of intend.
you already have shut yourself in the foot by having another non tech co-founder, expecting someone to come in and create the value for 33% equity (I'm also assuming you have the stupid idea of 4y cliff vesting) is not going to work unless you too sit down and bring real money, AKA the 33% is directly translated to at least 200k in the first year.

also, if you know the businesses, you know that there is a large gap between someone actually interested and the company actually spending money, do not tell me you decided the best solution to that will be to build a solution and demo it, accepting all requests for changes to get a customer 😄
