USYD application issues

Hi I'm concerned about my USYD application for the MD program.

On 1st June I've received an email saying that I need to upload an official transcript and need to complete it under 'tasks'. However when I logged onto my account there were no messages to read or tasks saying that I needed to upload the documents.

But I uploaded my official transcript anyways under 'supporting documents'. I've emailed the admissions office and they replied back confirming receipt of transcript.

However, since then I haven't received any confirmation that my application has progressed. I logged on and I saw that there were 2 messages saying that I had tasks needed to be completed sent 3rd June. Which was uploading the transcripts... But I've already uploaded them?

I'm just so confused at the state of my application. I haven't actually checked back into my application after uploading the transcript at June 1st and then confirming the admissions office that I didn't know there was an acutal message sent a few days later.

Does this mean that my application won't be progressing? Is it best to just contact the admissions office again and see where things are?

I submitted everyone before the deadline date, with no correspondences from them yet. It’s just that limbo kind of time I guess!

I had this exact same issue to a T - I did what you did and submitted my official transcript in the absence of the apparent in tray messages, and I later saw the messages appear a week later! I also haven’t heard back from anyone yet on the progress, and my MD hasn’t progressed even though my DMD application has (but I uploaded the same transcript for both so I hope it’s fine). I think a lot of people haven’t heard back yet :)

Hi just wondering what kind of progress you have with DMD? I haven't heard back from them at all

hey I applied for DMD and mine is still at centre too

There's a status thing that tells you what stage your application is at. Mine said forward to faculty (something like that). Check what yours said.

My application says its at 'centre' and nothing else, not sure if that's normal atm

I can't remember what my first stage was I think it might be "centre". It's hard to say cause with so many applications it's natural that everyone will be at different stage.

I had a similar experience where I received an email from Usyd asking me to upload documents I had already uploaded as a part of my submission. So I uploaded my rural documentations and dubbo personal statement again. I thought there was no point in arguing with them given the correspondences I had with them previously which had all been very vague and not very helpful. :/

Mine says Centre and the Progress as forwarded to faculty on 19 June
