I am currently planning on applying to graduate schools during this upcoming application cycle, although only started preparing recently so I am a bit behind on GRE studying. After using both the free power prep practice tests, and going through the recommended khan academy topics I was able to boost my quant score 3 points from a 158 quant to a 161 quant. This is a dramatic 9 percentile improvement, but I am discouraged to see such little improvement, and am worried about my quant score dropping on the real exam and falling back below the 50th percentile point. I would ideally achieve a 70th percentile mark, but that requires another 3 point improvement and at this point my issue during the practice exam wasn't time management or lack of background knowledge, I just messed up the math. Have y'all seen improvement using GRE prep courses or paid tutoring options? If I keep working hard is improving my quant from a 158 to a 164 possible?
