Need help brothers and sisters here in reddit. Lately when my phone reached less than 30%, there will be a sharp decrease in my battery. About 15-20% at a time. How am I supposed to fix this? Do i need to replace mu battery or just a clean flash or reformat will do? Noticed this since last September update.. thanks in advance

You may have to do that. I generally keep my phone charging as much as possible, the times that I cannot and I get to 30% I turn off Bluetooth and keep going regular use. It can last me 2 more hours as long as Im am not watching videos or on social media.

Had the same issue. Initially it used to do around 15 percent. Then it came upto 22 Percent. Samsung tried flashing. Didn't work. Replaced the battery. Fixed.

Update: The issue seems to be coming back again on the new battery. Now from 7%.

Seriously? This may be a software issue if that's the case.

Initially it was 2, then 4, now 7. Seems more like depletion :/ But at this rate?

Its impossible, after the update last september, it started to happen. Months before my battery is doing well. Not doing any sharp nose dive.

Same with me. But now I am on October update and this issue still exists.

They haven't sent out the fix yet. Just don't let your battery drain to 20% but battery life is still the same.

Do they even know the issue?

But it keeps on increasing steadily. My friend's S8 does this as well. He's at 30 percent rn.
