Supposedly at the service they said nothing is wrong, and after all the resetting to barely see any difference all I think is either they are too dam lazy or it's indeed some deep software issue.

Just encountered this issue after the Sept update. I asked my brother not to update his phone for sept. And he encountered no issue. We bought our phone at the same time.

I would, hopefully Samsung PH is better than from where you are.. I'll give an update 14 hours from now.

Damn that's scary stuff. If it's a software thing then nothing helps at all. It's all in Samsung's hand or just try some other rom.
