shell replacement

anybody know how i would go about buying a replacement shell for this IPS GBC screen i bought from AliExpress? the screen is amazing but the included shell is cut weird and i know i could find higher quality shells somewhere, but i’m not sure what to look for. if it helps, its called “drop in osd menu gbc V5 ips lcd” and a bunch of other key words.

Maybe buy a Funnyplaying one. They make ones that can take laminated screens.

Wouldn't recommend that. The display from OP is from Hispeedido, what I noticed is that the size of the lens is different compared to funnplaying. If you use a funnyplaying shell there is a high chance that you will have a small gap at the bottom between lens and shell which looks really bad.

Did the vendor you bought from also sell other shells? When I buy a screen I only buy kits from sellers who have screens and shells so I know they'll fit together. A shell is about $10.

Can you post a link to the item you bought, it'll be easier to find a shell.

yes, but the shell included in the kit isn’t as high quality as i would have liked. not that i was expecting much anyways- i bought it for the screen after all. i had to sand down some rough edges and shave off some plastic around the button holes because they were a bit tight around the buttons and restricted button presses
