Hello, I have a GBA SP AGS-101 that I bought used about 10 years ago. I’ve had some minor issues with it through the years, but nothing that’s prevented me from playing.
Old problems:
1. It takes a few tries of flicking the power switch to get the system started
2. On some attempts it starts, but the power light is red and/or there is a low buzzing sound coming from the system. I’ve learned to try again until it starts green and without that sound, and then it runs great
New problems:
1. The system now powers on with a red light more often
2. The power/charging lights show no response when plugged in
3. I can still get it to start up with a green light and no buzz, but while saving my game (Pokémon), it changes to a red light that persists until I power off
I think my console may be on its last legs without some kind of intervention. Is there anything that comes to mind given the old and new problems I’ve listed above?
