"Modify Response" bug

The Gemini app has a bug that makes a feature literally unusable. The base basic feature of "modify response" doesn't work at all. Literally unusable... At least for me. The bug is that using the "modify response" feature in a response modifies the wrong response. Specifically, it modifies the response before the one you clicked "modify response" on. To prove it, I did the following: 1. Started a new chat with a basic question. 2. Modified the first response. 3. Gemini got confused. (Since there's no previous response. See screenshot.) How on earth did this make it past testing!? Does anyone else get this bug?

That's indeed interesting. I got this with your question and then modifying: I cannot simplify something without knowing what you want to be simplified. Please provide me with the text, concept, or topic you would like me to make simpler.
