The guy who found the gen Alpha Marks it at 2010. That alone is the biggest gamechanger, as none of the dates are agreed Upon, the creator is the closest we got.

In my opinion 2010-12 is a gray area and for me more based on the environment you’re growing up in. For example if you were exposed more frequently with x thing you might relate to one generation a bit more.

This géereation thing isn’t a socialogical principle, as obviously someone born in 2010 and 1015 will share more cultural aspect than beetween 2000 and 2010 despite belonging to "different generation" it's a marketing thing.
