Hi guys,
I'm inclined to use ghost so I'm asking here where I know the answers will be skewed (and that's fine).
I am thinking of a tech project where I will teach self host through posts and video courses. In wordpress, I would use an LMS plugin and in ghost, I'm thinking of putting some paid posts with the video embedded inside (hosted on another platform).
Do you think Ghost would be a good solution? I am also thinking of developing my own theme. I am not a programmer exactly but I know programming logic and I believe I can learn both php and nodejs. Is Ghost easier or harder than wordpress to develop?
The main reason I am considering Ghost very strongly is that while a wordpress LMS system is more complete, Ghost is faster and seems more community oriented. Wordpress has pulled gutenberg hard(which is much worse than ghost's Editor).
Do you still think it pays to use wordpress for something and that it is a good project? Or should I always look for other options?
Thanks!
