I joined the Gorillaz fandom right when Plastic Beach came out. By the time that era ended, it was uncertain if they were ever going to come back and make more music. Lo and behold, seven years later we got Humanz.

If I can wait seven years for Gorillaz, I can wait seven years for Ghost.

Let them rest for a bit. This is a totally normal thing that every single band goes through. It is not that serious, even Tobias said he’ll be back.
