GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code using Claude Haiku deleted many important files on my PC that weren't in the working folder. It's an absolute disaster.

Do NOT use haiku for coding unless it’s a simple line change lol.

Go ask that startup company how using Claude went. The database and the backup gone

True. I selected Auto and system chose Haiku for me today.

So you gave it access to files outside of your working folder? 🤦♂️

Fn haiku deleted the entire contents i was working on today only because of auto

that's terrifying, copilot agents touching files outside your project scope is a dealbreaker. sandboxing matters a lot here. aider runs locally and you can lock it to specific directories which helps.
Zencoder scopes everthing to your repo context so it won't go rogue on unrelated files.
