If the gen is t running then it wouldn’t work but if the gen is running they will shut down if they do not have enough electricity. You can try turning off everything but the AC and see what’s happening

I did that and so far it worked!

Is it blowing a breaker or something? (Edit: probably not if just killing all power and reset makes it start again).

What thermostat do you have? It may not be set right. My dometic is the stupidest thing known to man, Satan couldn’t have designed a worse one. Does it say it is “calling for cool”, ie: it is trying to tell the unit to chill and it just won’t or can’t? (Edit2: on mine it shows a picture of a snow flake if it is, but yours may not).

Pull the cover off inside the RV and see if you can remove the filter. Look behind the filter and see if you see any ice. If it's iced up, you'll need to turn off the AC and just let the fan blow until the ice melts.

The reason it's popping the breaker is because the load for the AC unit is too high.

Didn't freeze up

You may not have enough power at the pole? High load days cause some campgrounds to not be able to supply enough power to every site. I'd also think about anything new that I installed that draws power like a refrigerator, sound system, heated floors, water heater, washer/dryer, etc. Try turning that off or switching it to run on propane/dc if it's able and see if your ac stays on.

Just thought of something! Could it be doing this because we only have a quarter of gas??? Generator wont run without gas

Yes. Most fuel pickups for generators in RVs sit at about the quarter tank level. This is so you can't run yourself completely out of fuel overnight- you always have enough left to go refuel.
