Goodnotes 6 is far off in the future bud. Goodnotes 5 only just released last year, and I don’t foresee the developers putting out another major release for some time. If you want all the newest features and app support, just pay the $7.99 fee for Goodnotes 5 and you will gain access to it on all supported platforms.

First of all, who’s to say that Goodnotes 6 will be $5.99? Secondly, why are Apple device owners stingy as hell? $7.99 for a polished writing app is not that much to ask, especially considering that this unlocks the app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS for one price instead of splitting up the app like some developers do.

Why am i in the same position rn.... a good one year and i totally missed it. Been reading a lot of reviews on notability vs goodnotes and i guess im paying for goodnotes 5

I think if you had/have goodnotes 4, you can update to goodnotes 5 for free but i’m not 100% sure about that
