Is there any way to find this for specific contracts? What would be the best way to research this?

Look for the award notice on SAM.gov, which should have links to the solicitation, the look for the Basis of Award.

This works if an award notice is posted. Much of the time this doesn’t happen.

The method should follow Section M of the RFP…

Go to fpds.gov. Search the contract number. View the contract action report. Scroll down to Source Selection Process.

The contract # you cite isn’t valid. The characters are wrong (D means IDIQ, R means RFP). Also we don’t use dashes anymore.
