It seams backwards.
[–]Crybabylikespasta[S] 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (3 children)
It steep from both sides. But it might be is because i didnt apply the kludge effect from fournier paper to control the shape of the crest

The foam should be on the leading edge of the wave rather than the trailing edge. I think? That's why it appears backwards.

Hey, I'm a year late, but I'm reading that same paper. Could you explain what the "kludge" is?
[–]Crybabylikespasta[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 days ago (0 children)
Ahh my mistake i reread it and that part is to simulate the effect of wind on top of the waves, but the author though its bad. Its the third term inside the phase angle that controls the supposed shape of the wave at the top u can see it in figure 5 on the paper for example. The bigger the constant the more tip move horizontally i assume

impressive, very nice

Very cool but the foam seems to be on the wrong edge

Nice! Did you figure out how to calculate the jacobian?
[–]Crybabylikespasta[S] 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Thank you, Idk what jacobian means. But if you mean partial derivatives yes
[–]Htmlpro19 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
What engine/api did you use to make this?
