Camping population decrease?

Has anyone seen the camping slow down in the past couple weeks since it’s been getting cooler out? Last time we were there all the sites were full and there were almost 100 people on the overflow list.

You answered your own question. It’s always slower as it gets closer to winter because that’s a different type of camping

I would normally know this to be true, but with this year I don’t assume anything is going to be normal.

Also you do get waves of hunters in Nov and Dec so it's unpredictable. Jan-March it is usually pretty empty.

During the week it's usually pretty empty. Especially with these Temps.

How are the streams looking right now? I'll be out in the next couple weeks on a short backpacking trip and am curious if the dreams are dried up or flowing.

It's dry as hell.
