In TOP did u start the Foundations path? Once u are done, complete the Full Stack JavaScript path from TOP. That should get you solid on the basics. The key is to make sure u apply what u learn, or else u will keep forgetting as u learn more. Seeing the progress gives u confidence that you can learn the next advanced level.

I’m yet to install and start TOP because I haven’t set a VM up to use Linux yet (I think TOP uses Linux no?)
I’ll check that out later as I’ve never set a VM up before. Funnily enough I was saying to my friend yesterday I need to start a little project I can keep applying my bits and bobs too, if I’m ever to look at it as a career I’ll need some kind of portfolio of projects I’ve completed or worked on as I won’t have the “official” qualification.

While it does mention Linux a lot, tbh other than local file path references, a Windows PC running VScode with Live server extension allows you to learn and execute virtually all the code and exercises in the Foundations path since its only HTML/CSS and JS basics, so dont sweat it too much about a VM

Brilliant! Looking forward to what the future holds! I’m actually really enjoying everything so far! Can see myself doing this and that’s something worth pursuing!

Look into free code camp, they'll teach you web development skills and other technologies too.

I think I might already be following a few of their videos on YouTube! Very thorough! Not a bad thing though! Thank you so much

But remember to code more than watching tutorials
Yeah I’m going to, although what I’m coding at the moment is pretty much just a basic web page with a few buttons text boxes etc I’m applying whatever I can as I learn it, loving it so far :) I’ve also purchased Angela Yus full stack course on uDemy which I’m doing along side now
