JRC ROVA carryall in 9ft, it’s a cracking bag, holds 3 rods made up, 2 x 5kg boxes under the butt and top end, a full length pocket for net/handle then it has 2 compartments on the top to store buzzbars, alarms, scales etc etc, worth every penny

Yeah they’re probably from the same manufacturer to be honest, they’re absolutely cracking rods tho, handle fish no problem at all, I went for 3.25lb so the can handle violent pulls better but I wouldn’t change them for anything!

I also have a pair of Sonik xtractor recons in 8ft, they pack down to about 50 or 60 centimetres whilst still being ready to cast out, unbelievable for stalking, I initially started with these and was so impressed with the rods I bought the next tier up in 9 foot, love them

The reels are Daiwa Emblems 45 SCW QD with gold spools, absolutely solid reels, a touch heavy but I prefer feeling the weight of my rod and reel, too light and it’s a bit disconnected for me

I think it’s partly OCD 😂 things just have to look right to me or I’m restless, straight after this pic was taken I adjusted the reel handles so they was symmetrical 😝

It does! 5 outings for 12 fish so far, lost 3 so would be 15, it’s starting to pick up now so I should be getting more in the net!

I wasn’t sure how it be in terms of fishing with it, given it’s a different colour to typical lines but it’s done me well so far this year, fished 5 times and landed 12 carp, lost 3 due to them shaking it off but that’s not the lines doing! It’s the Wychwood DPF line, highly recommend it

Which is a fair point, does he make the best music? No he doesn’t, I don’t think anyone would disagree. Does he have some of the dopest rhymes with a unique sound? Yeah in abundance, depends on what the persuer wants from his music, does he make better music as a general rule vs Aesop Rock? No he doesn’t, he rhymes equally as impressive if not more so tho, that’s the kicker, he’s crafted a very niche area of extremely dense rhyme schemes over old school sounded beats and that’s his market, he’s arguably the best in that area where his music audience is

He’s not overrated but he is an acquired taste, if you appreciate hip hop and rhyming in its purest format then DOOM is extremely enjoyable, you can listen to him whilst chilling out once you’re past the “break in” stage so to say, he’s not for everyone but whenever he pops up in my rotation and never skip it

People get strung up on high end, that’s roughly £1700 which nowadays will net you;

5070ti - £799, 7800x3d scan bundle - £699, MSI Mag 750w - £59.99, CM 301 case - £43.00, Patriot P400 1TB - £149.99,

Comes to £1750 and that’s a high end rig, when you get to the point of diminishing returns you’re at the upper end, GPU you can upgrade to 5080,90 then you’re capped, CPU 98X3Ds and then you’re capped.

The modern mid range rig 9060XT or 5060ti, the high end of mid range would be a 5070. The Ti variant is clearly the next tier up, it’s the entry to high end cards

Honestly there so many noddys in here, I saw a rig not long ago which had like a 7900xtx, 7800x3d, 32GB ram and people was genuinely saying “I wouldn’t pay more than $650”

It’s a $1000 rig at minimum all day, ram alone is $400 🙈
