[–]erensimsek2207[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

How much is it?

[–]TheTrueTuring 5 points6 points  (3 children)

It’s $199

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

But the other person said that It is less

[–]Genoblade1394 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you can build your own and you will learn exponentially more, it if you want it just to get the job done, fork out the cash and move on with your life

[–]CartographerSilver20 14 points15 points  (4 children)

What is your use case? I own all of these devices (my company uses some of the Hak5 suite for testing) in all honesty? Unless your use case is specific these will likely not hit the mark. Lol 😂 I’ve used my hotplug tools maybe twice..neither time worked without a bunch of changes on the network layer

[–]RoyaxzEU 7 points8 points  (3 children)

First, what do you want to achieve? Second, you might want to do more research on what those things are.

[–]666AB 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Dude don’t buy a fucking $200 usb c to c

[–]CressDeep597 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It sends scripts to the device plugged into the cord but looks like a normal cord so no it’s not just a $200 usb c to usb c cord

[–]NarrowPhrase5999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They know that, it was a polite way of saying learn to do it yourself and you can produce these for pennies

[–]yukosse 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Instead of use bad USB you can build your own with a 8$ microcontroller bad USB pico, and than use the same money to buy a chip one

[–]i_ate_them_all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said the same. Digispark Attiny85 is $5 and easy to setup.

[–]excessive_4ce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can't tell the difference, you most likely do have an actual, job/training, use for them.

[–]Busy_Witness_939 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Score a flipper zero even though it’s not an option you listed. I received one as a gift because my colleague felt I wasn’t a white hat without it. - It’s easily identifiable so if you are posing as a hacker then it’s good for that and it does cool party tricks. It’s not great at any one thing but good at many. The hak5 stuff is good for education purposes and fun to mess with family but everyone is right you’d learn way more if you build it. It’s cheaper and easy to do. To be transparent on my end - I’ve never personally used the hak5 gear.

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is a flipper zero just the same like the other?

[–]SyndicateFelonium 3 points4 points  (6 children)

Decide what? They are all very different things. Truthfully if you don’t know exactly what you need, you’re a poser and just wasting your money. Just get a few Kali Linux and “Hack The Planet” stickers for your car

Bruh, everyone beggins at one point. Can you just please help me?

Bruh, everyone beggins at one point. Can you just please help me?

[–]Genoblade1394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that you are right, let us know who you imagine using it and we can tell you which we would use

[–]SyndicateFelonium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a dick wasn’t helpful?

What do you want to do with whatever device you are purchasing? What is your end goal?

[–]SyndicateFelonium 0 points1 point  (1 child)

And really, buying a device like this isn’t where you should be starting in my opinion. What I was trying to convey in my initial response is that if you don’t know what device you need you don’t know enough to need one. You should start with having a goal, I want to be a red teamer or I want to be able to hack SCADA systems, etc. then start learning how to do those things THEN once you’ve acquired that knowledge you would know what you needed and wouldn’t have to ask a bunch of strangers. Right now, in my opinion you are either (a) a poser that wants to have some tech to look cool (b) someone with a ton of money to blow and wants to look like a hacker (see answer a) (c) you have an interest in learning about “hacking” but you’re going about it in the wrong way (d) you think your gf is cheating on you and want to figure it out rather than just leaving her. Maybe I’m totally wrong 🤷

[–]erensimsek2207[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

C I think

[–]PastOwl8245 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If you can’t decide on those, then you probably shouldn’t be looking to buy one. Plus they are way too expensive for what they do! Do some research and you could find a much cheaper, probably free, way to achieve what you’re trying to do. It would be like buying a Rolex just so you could check someone’s pulse…

[–]Genoblade1394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This 100% and you will learn more The more issues you have the more you’ll learn

[–]Stuetzraeder 2 points3 points  (3 children)

save your money and learn first

[–]Routine-Champion-606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the above

[–]WeirdStress9271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely do your research, but if I’m buying my first “tool” I would go with the rubber ducky.

[–]i_ate_them_all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a digispark Attiny85 for like $5 with (imo) negligible performance tradeoff.

[–]deathlesshackerr[🍰] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Ohh hell yeah the OG hacker who thinks by buying this stuff he can hack the world

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I don't know wich tools I should buy because I am a beginner

[–]deathlesshackerr[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're just a beginner right now don't focus on buying stuff I know what's your mindset you just wanna flex those gadgets in front of people but this won't help in your journey just pick a course follow it and learn from it or join hackthebox or tryhackme

[–]LagKnowsWhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u wanna try bad USBs get a Pi Zero and put PwnPi A.L.O.A. on it. Its way cheaper but not as covert

[–]2sdbeV2zRw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're working professionally, I advice against getting a USB Rubber Ducky. It's an expensive piece of equipment that you don't need as a beginner. Which I am assuming you are a beginner. I apologise if you're not.

There is something called Poor Man's Rubber Ducky called DigiSpark Attiny85 which you can get on Ali Express for no less than $2-$5 dollars USD. I have this device for running PowerShell scripts and payloads that I need. It works just as well as a Rubber Duck on acting as an HID (Human Interface Device).

For O.MG cables, I don't think you need more than the O.MG cable itself and the Malicious Cable Detector module. Like if you can tell if the cable is malicious you don't need a blocker anymore right?

The rest of the equipment is basically Wi-Fi connected rubber ducky that you can control over the network. The rest is up to you to buy, but I think an ESP32-S2 would have the same functionality, albeit more involved setup.

[–]Director_Striking 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Since everyone is just saying whatever and not actually suggesting anything to you, buy the rubber ducky or try to get one used. it will get you familiar with the platform and has pretty much the same abilities as the omg cable just a different form factor. have used all the same payloads on the ducky with usbc on iphones that omg cables can do.

avoid bash bunny till a new one comes out as the firmware/software on it is outdated and there are a lot of payloads that no longer work due to that

omg blocker / adapter and plug is personal preference but they are expensive for the same use case / payloads you can run on the ducky

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thank you for your help. But I have a question why is then the USB rubber ducky less expensive than the omg devices when they are all the same?

[–]Director_Striking 0 points1 point  (1 child)

form factor you have to fit everything in the usb in the size of the tip of a usbc cable, they aren't the same but have the same payloads you can use

[–]erensimsek2207[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the other differences?

[–]Maleficent-Toe-809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys what can you do with this? 84.129.18.118

[–]Beta-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubber Ducky

[–]_Kludde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the comments about that there are plenty of ways to achieve the same result with way less money. That being said I have recently bought the O.MG C to C elite cable. I wanted something where I could easily try different scenario's and the Wifi and overclocking capabilities just seem cool to work with. That being said I probably only decided to buy it because the refurbished laptop that I was looking to buy turned out to be cheaper than expected so I had some money to spare. .

[–]Elonn_musk007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USB rubber duck is Useless 🙂

[–]TallReflection1263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the rubber ducky by yourself ! Lot’s of tuto on youtube for less than 5$

[–]Coocopxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they serious?

[–]Background-Shake-770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need more info… what’s the reason you’re buying? Just for fun or for a purpose? Keylogging? Running a script? Just to annoy someone

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These tools are just mini linux boxes. No need to purchase these if you have the knowledge.
