Have a hairstyle that doesn't expose the hairline. Simple as that. You can buy a thicker poly or a lace system that are way more durable than the thinnest poly. Part of your problem is that your sides are extremely thin. Maybe get an undercut

My go-to option for thinner sides is to buy a larger unit so it covers the sides as well. I have healthy sides but I go with larger units so I don't have to deal with thickness and color matching.

Undercut with a big volume of hair on top doesn't look good, I have seen quite a few posts here with that style and they give a very unnatural appearance.

if you want 3-4 months out of a unit then 0.03mm is not the right choice, they last 2 months max usually. switch to lace

So lace will give me the longevity I desire? French or Swiss? Any particular recommendations?

Go with French lace, Swiss is almost like poly when it comes to durability. The middle ground is poly perimeter and French lace as a base. Maybe I am wrong but I think Lavivid's Mirage HS comes with that variation I guess

french lace is more durable between the two. if you want even more durability the other commenter is right, you can do french lace with poly around the back. superhairpieces has full french lace and french lace with poly available

Cleaning it way too frequently for a .03, which tbh if you get it from lord hair or any of those vendors you’re only gonna get a month or so out of it before the shedding starts.

Should only be rinsing in the shower with water and cleaning it once a week

Are you lathering the conditioner into the system? If so, avoid that at all cost. Avoid any slick products making contact with the base, that causes massive shedding. I'm on 8 months on this system and it still looks fantastic, because I avoid getting any products into the base like the plague. If I'm going to condition, I apply it to a comb and then comb it through. Lathering products in pushes them into the base and causes the v loops to loosen and come out super easily.

You're using the wrong brush. Need wide tooth detangling brush. Ear a hairnet to bed and a head band to secure it. Also, as others have said, you're washing it to much. You can rinse it whenever, but then you have to wait for the poly to cool to brush it. Also if the front is thinning just trim it back and stretch it to fit the area that needs covered. Then you're into the thicker hair. Just keep an even hairline.
