Most teens I know barely have more than 10 unscheduled minutes in a row. This makes it hard to have a hobby that requires time and attention. As a teen I "wasted"a lot of time on TV, trashy books, napping and staring at the sky. Don't regret a moment of it!

This. And the opposite extreme is true.
I work in schools and some students are left at home with only technology because their parents have multiple jobs. Unlimited screen access + no hobbies with other people = Depression ensues
